BROWN BAG BOOK REPORT:
Our next book report is due the
week of December 17. It is a
brown bag book report. If some
children are ready before that date, they are welcome to give their report
early. The children need to design the front of a grocery bag with a setting
from the story they read. Please
have them remember to include both the title and author on the front of the
bag. If the bag has writing on
both sides, a picture can be pasted to the bag. I will check with AJ’s and Trader Joe’s. I think their bags are printed on one
side. They are to place inside the
bag various items (four or five) that will help them tell and illustrate the
story when they give their report to the class. They can even draw pictures if need be. Remember to have them practice giving
the report and pulling the items out as they tell about the story. Please help them tell enough about the
story so we get the idea of what the book was about. I will give a “brown bag book report” of my own so the
children will understand what they are to present and you are welcome to stop
by the classroom and take a look at it also.
